On Oct 4, 2017, on the occasion of the Moon Festival, we will host a Welcome Reception to welcome our 2+2 and 1+1+1 students from China, on behalf of our Dean of the Faculty of Environment.
The Moon Festival is a celebration of gathering and thanksgiving, and is the second most important holiday in China, Vietnam, Singapore, and other countries in the region. Moon cakes are the official holiday food, a sweet, round pastry with paste fillings of various flavours, such as dates, sweet beans, and lotus seed. During this holiday period, people decorate their homes and streets with ornate lanterns, and carry them through the streets as part of the festival.
You are welcome to join us to share this moment with our students. If you are available to come, please save the date and RSVP using the link below.
Please register for this free event by September 28th, 12:00pm.
