Algonquin College is proud to announce the date of the fifth annual Canada Conference of Corporate & Community Social Responsibility – Tuesday, November 6 at Algonquin College in Ottawa.
“The College is tremendously proud to host Canada’s largest conference on Corporate Community Social Responsibility,” says Algonquin College President Kent MacDonald, one of the founding members of the conference. “This annual event brings together thought leaders in the fields of sustainability, social responsibility, and consumer engagement. I am looking forward to hearing from the many amazing speakers we have this year, and the discussions their presentations will bring.”
The speakers and presenters this year include Dr. Alice B. Aiken, who will be moderating a workshop entitled “Building the pan-Canadian research agenda in support of the health of our military, Veterans and their families”, Bruce Piasecki, President and Founder, AHC Group, who will be speaking about “Doing More With Less - How to Capitalize on Shifting Boundaries in Corporate Responsibility”, and Tom Rand, Managing Director, MaRS Cleantech Fund I LP, who will address “Leadership and Climate Change – The Frog in the Hot Water Effect”.
