Alumni celebrating Alumni Black and Gold Day

Black and gold forever

#UWaterlooForever

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the University of Waterloo is taking steps to limit the spread and risks of the disease in our community. With caution and concern for our alumni, we have made the difficult decision to move Alumni Weekend and Alumni Black and Gold Day events online. While we can’t reconnect in the way we planned, we hope you will join us for the virtual events on September 25 and 26, 2020.

Run anytime September 19 to 12 p.m. (EDT) September 26

Join in the virtual alumni Fun Run by going for a run between September 19 and 26, and as always costumes are encouraged! Register for $10 and have a medal mailed to you; each additional medal is $5 extra.

Crisis, motivation, and coming out the other side

Friday September 25 | 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (EDT) | Online

Meet the co-founders of Masks for Covid in the panel discussion “Crisis, motivation and coming out the other side” and learn how they turned obstacle into opportunity during a challenging time.

Meet a panel of urban theorists, policymakers and practitioners from around the world to discuss how cities are evolving to offer safety and security for their citizens in this new reality.

Saturday September 26 | 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EDT) | Online

The first group to graduate post-covid, we're inviting all June grads from the Class of 2020 to our first-ever zero-year reunion, a live, virtual event with fun activities and special guests.

The University of Waterloo is committed to achieving barrier-free accessibility for persons with disabilities who are visiting, studying, or working at Waterloo.
