The Jack Rosen Memorial Award was created to reward out-of-the-box thinking and encourage Environment students to innovate solutions to solve, mitigate or prevent environmental problems.
Climate change is having a profound effect on the environment, especially on the quality and availability of water resources. Water-related natural disasters, such as flooding, drought, and landslides, are more frequent and more severe. Rising temperatures, causing increased evaporation and glacial melt, are reducing the reliability and quality of water supplies.

Planning students are not like ordinary university students and the School of Planning is not like other University programs. Ours is an accredited professional school that provides the educational foundation necessary for students to ultimately earn the designation of RPP - Registered Professional Planner.
