When it comes to sustainable development in Canada, where are we headed, were should we be headed, and what can youth do about it?
Join a cohort of environmental entrepreneurs from Waterloo and beyond to learn more about pitching an idea and starting your own business as a woman. The event will begin with a panel discussing experiences in the field as a woman, overcoming and embracing obstacles, improving confidence, and finding an ideal team to help your idea thrive. After the event, stay for refreshments and a meet and greet with panel members and other women entrepreneurs from the community. This event is open to all students, but is targeted towards our women-identifying and non-binary peers.

The Leadership Series gives Faculty of Environment students the opportunity to connect with and learn from alumni through discussion and small-group networking. This term we are organizing a breakfast roundtable event focused on how to network effectively and the importance of building diverse connections. Stay tuned for upcoming Leadership Series events in Winter 2018.
This student-led initiative consists of two events, a free-to-attend Eco-market that runs throughout the day and two ticketed scheduled fashion shows (1 pm & 3.30 pm). Project: Trashion will be hosting their first ever fashion exhibition - THE UNION that aims to unite key actors of sustainability within the Kitchener/Waterloo region in Ontario.
Come back to the University of Waterloo on Saturday, September 22nd for Reunion 2018 and celebrate! Revisit the Faculty of Environment, reunite with former classmates and professors, relive your fondest campus memories and if you dare, recreate those old class photos!
