Every year, more than 600 people from more than 30 countries gather in Canada for the Canadian Conference on Global Health (CCGH). Practitioners, researchers, educators, students, policy makers and community mobilizers come to share their knowledge and experience and find new ways to work together. When it comes to sustainable development in Canada, where are we headed, were should we be headed, and what can youth do about it?
Join a cohort of environmental entrepreneurs from Waterloo and beyond to learn more about pitching an idea and starting your own business as a woman. The event will begin with a panel discussing experiences in the field as a woman, overcoming and embracing obstacles, improving confidence, and finding an ideal team to help your idea thrive. After the event, stay for refreshments and a meet and greet with panel members and other women entrepreneurs from the community. This event is open to all students, but is targeted towards our women-identifying and non-binary peers.
