But having recently learned in Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In that most females only apply for jobs they are 100% qualified for, she decided to throw her hat into the ring filled with engineering students, and she landed the job. Turning a co-op placement into a full-time job, however, took time, patience and maintaining connections.
