Brock Dickinson is one of Canada’s leading economic development thinkers, combining twenty years of hands-on experience in the field with the latest ideas, innovations and research to drive 21st century economic development. A widely published writer and popular public speaker, Brock is the Entrepreneur in Residence at the Faculty of Environment. He is a founder of the company MDB Insight.
Sean Geobey: I teach social entrepreneurship and social innovation, viewing these as pathways towards the establishment of alternative sustainable social, ecological and economic systems. A more sustainable world will require us to bring a greater diversity of perspectives to decision-making and to work on a longer time horizon than most of our political and economic systems do today.
