Campus safety has always been a top priority, and you can do your share to help. Through interactive exercises, this three hour workshop, entitled, "Man Up: Exploring Healthy Masculinity," will help participants learn about the importance of equal roles and about the issues that affect us all.
The content is geared towards unpacking social constructs of masculinity and increasing understanding of the impact of an individuals’ behavior on themselves and others. The workshop will explore the nature of sexual violence and men’s roles in perpetuating a culture in which sexual violence exists. The workshop will also offer a discussion of the ways in which men can make the University of Waterloo campus safe for everyone.
These workshops are free and open to everyone, with food and beverages provided!
Seven workshops will be held, one at each faculty. Location details will be available at time of registration.
