Please join us for the launch of the University of Waterloo’s new Masters of Development Practice
The School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED) invites you to join us for a special one-day event to launch our exciting and innovative new program -- the Masters of Development Practice (MDP).
This rigorous 16 month, cross-disciplinary training program will position graduates as global development professionals. With support from the MacArthur Foundation and the Canadian International Development Agency, the MDP program connects students and faculty to a network of 25 university partners and collaborating organizations around the world focused on the goal of training the future leaders of development practice.
With the future in mind, we will also be hosting a public panel to discuss and debate the dimensions and potential roles Canada might play in achieving a prosperous and equitable global society once the UN’s Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) expire in 2015. The panelists are global leaders in politics, business and human rights, all of which are cornerstones to the goals of sustainable development.
