Tell us your story!

This dialogue, moderated by the School of Planning's Dr. Markus Moos, aims to bring together secondary students, university students, and community residents of all ages to foster inter-generational dialogue; and learn about current and past housing issues in our community and beyond.

It is hoped that the act of sharing stories can help enhance mutual understanding across generations; and help keep our current housing challenges in perspective.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Audience members will have the opportunity to share housing challenges they are currently facing and/or see others face in our community.

Event Program

2:00PM - Coffee and cookies, Hagey Hall Atrium (front foyer)

2:30PM - Intro lecture by Dr. Markus Moos, Assistant Professor, School of Planning: "What do you mean you didn't have running water? A 'contemporary' history of housing in Canada"

3:00PM - Panelists: "What's your housing story?"

3:40PM - Upon forum: "Tell us your story" (anyone from the audience can tell us about the housing challenges they faced in the past or are currently dealing with)
