The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition asks University of Waterloo research-based master's and doctoral students to explain the breadth and significance of their research to a non-specialist audience using only one static slide in three minutes.
Not only does the 3MT help cultivate students' presentation and communication skills while providing them with invaluable networking opportunities, winners also have the potential to win thousands of dollars in prizes. Register to compete for the 3 Minute Thesis by filling out the online application.
