Master of Development Practice

The Master of Development Practice (MDP) at the University of Waterloo is part of a Global Association of MDP programs. The MDP at Waterloo is a professional course-based, 16-month, cross-disciplinary program which positions graduates as global development professionals. The program prepares students to better identify and address the challenges of extreme poverty and sustainable development through excellent course offerings and a field placement. Students graduate with the knowledge and the practical skills required to become successful development practice professionals and to contribute to shaping a just, humane and ecologically sustainable world.
