Environment celebrates a landmark convocation

The Faculty of Environment would like to congratulate all 589 Faculty of Environment students who received their degrees

Of special note are the graduates from the Diploma in Social Innovation who will cross the stage for the first time. The Diploma is a partnership between leading academics at the University of Waterloo, expert practitioners from across the country, and the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation with the goal of exploring and utilizing multiple and cross-cutting perspectives, necessary to solve our most pressing environmental problems.

First Master of Development Practice students embark on summer abroad

The first class of the School of Environment Enterprise and Development’s (SEED) MDP program has now gone abroad to complete their field placement projects in developing countries. The three- month practicum allows the students to head out into the world and apply the knowledge  learned in their first two terms of course work.
