Most of Canada’s fossil-fuelled energy policies are on a collision course with reconciliation. Since signing the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, Canada hasn't made much progress living up to its principles around resource projects, with economic considerations prioritized over Indigenous rights and environmental concerns.

Ecolab manager Anne Grant wins Staff Enhancement Experience Grant

Congratulations to Anne Grant on winning the Staff Enhancement Experience (SEE) Canada Grant for 2018. Launched this year, the SEE Canada Grant provides an opportunity for regular full-time university staff members to further their professional development through idea-exchange and learning alongside counterparts at other Canadian universities, colleges, research institutions or industry-partner organizations.

Environment recognizes the Winter 2018 Co-op Work Term Award winners

The Faculty of Environment would like to congratulate the amazing student winners of the Winter 2018 Co-op Work Term Award. These students demonstrated exceptional performance in their placements. Each of the recipients received a $100 credit to their account, a letter from the Dean of Environment and two copies of their certificate. Curious who won?
