The University of Waterloo has developed a tool to help the capital markets incorporate physical climate change and extreme weather risk into investment decisions.
On Wednesday March 4, 2020, CBC Radio released a report which focused on the research of Daniel Scott, the chair of the University of Waterloo's Master of Climate Change program and one of the study's co-authors. Daniel Scott and his team of researchers have predicted that by 2080, rising tempartures could render all of Ontario's five dozen ski resorts economically nonviable.
