Faculty of Environment graduate students from the Geospatial Club ran a successful workshop about Machine Learning for Geospatial Data. This event was held in collaboration with the Dana Porter Geospatial Centre.
On Thursday January 10, the University of Waterloo’s Office of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA) hosted the final showcase for the GRADflix initiative. The Faculty of Environment represented five of the fifteen finalists, the largest number of any faculty on campus.
Gord Miller, the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario (ECO), and his Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Committee will be on the University of Waterloo campus on June 4th to engage with Faculty of Environment research groups, including graduate students.
The Environment Graduate Student Association (EGSA) is responsible for planning events, holding meetings, and being the voice of the masters and PhD students in the following programs (everyone who isn’t a planner).
