Oluwaseyi Adaghe was recognized as an Emerging Leader by GreenBiz, a winner of their Emerging Leaders Scholarship. As an Emerging Leader,

she had the opportunity to attend the GreenBiz 20 Conference in Scottsdale, ArizonaOluwaseyi Adaghe is an Master of Environment and Business Candidate at the University of Waterloo, as well as an Sustainability Coordinator for Javelin Technologies.

Only ten other students around the world were named as Emerging Leaders through the GreenBiz Emerging Leaders Scholarship. Oluwaseyi Adaghe had the opportunity to attend and learn more about climate change, environmental justice and addressing the climate crisis in the future. 

"One of my biggest takeaways from GreenBiz 20 was the connections I made. Being able to converse with senior executives, directors and managers at top organizations and receive advice on my current projects and career journey was invaluable. It was also impactful to see the idea of corporate responsibility and community engagement be challenged during some of the sessions."
