TV meteorologists could play key role in climate change education

Weathercast TVs

A recent study from Bronwyn Mcllroy-Young, a Knowledge Integration graduate, and Jason Thistlethwaite, a School of Environment, Enterprise, and Development (SEED) professor, found that television weathercasters are increasingly interested in getting into climate change journalism, but face a number of barriers to taking on the role.

Mcllroy-Young and Thistlethwaite’s study appears in the journal Environmental Communication.
