Other than his academic achievements, Joseph is an active member of the community.  He volunteered as an International Peer Community Group Facilitator for Waterloo International in 2015.  He also played in the Waterloo’s Ball Hockey Team between 2014 and 2016.  His athleticism and care for the community led Joseph to manage a soccer and hockey team for the students in the Faculty of Environment.  Over the years, more than 30 students participated in the team.

To describe Joseph in one sentence, Professor Paul Parker would say that Joseph is an “outstanding all-round student who combines intelligence, a strong work ethic, leadership and sportsmanship”.
