What do you love most about your program now?

The co-op component interests me the most. At the same time with this program, I get to gain background knowledge in ecology, environmental economics and environmental decision that is essential in today's business world where environmental issues are setting its ground. The idea of combining business and sustainability is new but necessary with today's climate change situation.

Why did you choose to study in the Faculty of Environment at Waterloo?

I chose the Faculty of Environment at Waterloo because there were a number of environmental programs to choose from, each covering a different aspect of the current issues faced today. This faculty also provides a co-op stream for most of its programs, which has given me real-life work experience in fields that we study in class.

Why did you choose to study in the Faculty of Environment at Waterloo?

I chose to study in the Faculty of Environment because it offered a program and university experience that was uniquely fitted to my interests and future career goals.

I've always been passionate about the environment (my dream is to eventually save the earth!), and I knew that I wouldn't be happy unless I was studying it. In the future, I know that I want to work in this field, whether that be through an NGO, a business, or the government.

Why did you choose to study in the Faculty of Environment at Waterloo?

The Faculty of Environment is a well-established faculty with a great community and also has great resources for me to utilize! There are so many opportunities to make friends as well as connect with peers and professionals through faculty-wide activities and programs like the Learning Living Community, and ENVigorate. The interactive, close-knit community enhances the great academic experience because I get to work with people who are not only invested in personal growth, but also in making a difference in the world.
