This is a three hour introductory workshop to help staff and faculty develop a sense of accountability and understanding of the pervasive nature of racism within the Institution. The workshop will provide a high-level overview of racism and how to support someone who has experienced racism (through informal or formal mechanisms).

Participant Expectations:
The workshop will be interactive and require all participants to engage with content and collective learning. The workshop is designed to provide catalyst information to the group so that we can co-create resources and strategies to confront racism within the Institution.

This is an introductory virtual workshop to help staff and faculty build their understanding on how to work towards creating inclusive spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. The workshop will cover key terminology and concepts, provide a historical overview which informs how we can communicate with care, and will enhance knowledge on how to build Trans inclusive spaces on campus.
