The uWaterloo Science Open House will be held on October 26. This free event is the result of a collaborative effort that brings together activities from all uWaterloo Science departments to introduce the wonders of science to kids!
Accessible parking for those with a valid sticker can be found just west of the EIT building. The Science Open House is hosted mainly in the Centre for Environmental and Information Technology, EIT on the Campus Map shown below.

Saturday, October 26:
The day will be filled with fun activities and science experiments for children of all ages.
Some of the activities include:
- hands on chemistry experiments
- gold panning
- walk inside a giant cell
- create a laser maze
and much more!
Be sure to see the Chemistry Magic Show: 11 AM and 2 PM, in Biology 1- Room 271. This high energy show features loud noise, open flames and demonstrations sure to amaze!
