Two-session workshop: attend the first session to learn about your personality type and preferences for learning and decision making. In the second session, discover how to apply your MBTI type to explore potential careers. NOTE: There is a materials charge of $10.00 payable at the Centre for Career Action prior to the session. Once you have registered and paid, you will be given information on how to complete the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) online. The online test must be completed at least 2 business days prior to the workshop.

Tuesday, November 13, 2012 — 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM EST

Learn how to apply for Ontario Rehab science programs (audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy/physiotherapy, speech-language pathology). Topics include writing effective personal statements and the sketch, advice on reference letters, and information on the ORPAS process.

There will be a lunch time Mexican-themed fiesta fundraiser including music, movement, and food. Donations will be accepted for Caminandos Unidos – an alternative school in Cuernavaca, Mexico, which offers free education to marginalized children and youth. This event is part of Intentional Education Week.

Waterloo International is holding a contest  to test your knowledge and geography skills. Waterloo International will name a place and contestants will have to guess where it. The winner will receive a $150 Retail Services gift certificate. This event is open to students, staff and faculty. This event is part of International Education Week.

A film screening based on the true story and unlikely firendship of wealthy quadreplegic, Philippe Pozzo di Borgo, and his live-in caregiver, Abdel Sellou, a young offender from the rough streets of Paris.

ADMISSION is $2 + 1 canned food item with Waterloo ID, or $5 for non-Waterloo attendees

Join men's basketball coach Greg Francis for dinner in Renison's Great Hall Cafeteria on Monday, November 12! After sharing a meal, Coach Francis will deliver a talk and then open up the floor for a question and answer period.

The event is open to everyone; you can either purchase your dinner at Renison's cafeteria or bring your own! (Renison residents can attend for free.) Seating is limited.

She will teach you how to leverage your strengths to overcome obstacles and gain higher levels of job satisfaction and achievement. You will be required to complete the Strengths Finder 2.0 assessment before attending; directions will be sent prior to the session.
