My World Abroad (www.MyWorldAbroad.com) is a comprehensive online guide to the global work place. Learn how to use this guide to build global career skills, gain practical tips to build your international credentials, and better understand worldwide job search strategies. It is also an excellent tool for international students to prepare for the Canadian labour market.

This workshop introduces you to MyWorldAbroad, an online guide for building global career skills that contains key information on acquiring international experience, conducting international job searches, and much more. In this workshop, you will create a personal account and learn how to use this valuable resource.

Waterloo International is holding a contest  to test your knowledge and geography skills. Waterloo International will name a place and contestants will have to guess where it. The winner will receive a $150 Retail Services gift certificate. This event is open to students, staff and faculty. This event is part of International Education Week.

Two-session workshop: attend the first session to learn about your personality type and preferences for learning and decision making. In the second session, discover how to apply your MBTI type to explore potential careers. NOTE: There is a materials charge of $10.00 payable at the Centre for Career Action prior to the session. Once you have registered and paid, you will be given information on how to complete the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) online. The online test must be completed at least 2 business days prior to the workshop.
