Discussion activities - Stephen Svenson, St Jerome’s University - Sociology and Legal Studies

Stephen Svenson has used LEARN discussion forums for many purposes in his Sociology courses over the past year. PRIVACY COLLOQUIUM

After a lengthy period of looking at various possibilities by a broad group
on campus, the University is currently considering adoption of online
processing of expense claims using Concur, a US-based company with a
US-hosted system. As part of the consultation process, we are organizing an information session on the privacy aspects if we were to go ahead with Concur for this purpose.

There will be two speakers:

Lectures will be presented on "Intelligence in Machines, Humans, and other Animals". 
 
Speakers from the University of Waterloo's Computer Science, Systems Design Engineering, Psychology, Anthropology, and Biology departments will be featured.
