Each week at 12 noon, a 50-minute lecture is presented by University of Waterloo professors, alternating with Wilfrid Laurier University professors. The 5th Annual Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering Design Symposium welcomes the public to view innovative projects like intelligent assistive devices for the visually impaired, 3D printing of chocolate and portable water purification system designed for bicyclists.

The symposium will have a total of 26 exhibits covering a wide range of topics including Education Systems, Robotics, Reconfigurable Service Systems, Medical Equipment and Environmental Recognition and Mapping.

The Waterloo Juggling Festival is celebrating it's 21st year with all day juggling on March 16th and 17th, held at the Student Life Center.

There will be open juggling, workshops, competitions, and an evening performance from both local and international performers.

With special guests Joe Showers and Michael Falkov, the festival will showcase some amazing talent. The festival schedule will include workshops ranging from ball juggling, hoop, kendama, and much more.

Water 4 Life is an awareness raising event, hosted by uWaterloo Free the Children, where participating teams will run a relay around BHM Green carrying jugs of water, all in an effort to bring attention to critical water issues that affect communities around the world. 

Team registration takes place February 26, 27 and 28 in the SLC from 9am - 5pm.

The team that raises the most money will win an exclusive new Android smartphone, equipped with a one year plan.

Third and fourth year students from Systems Design Engineering will be presenting their design projects at the Davis Centre on March 15th from 10:00am-4:30pm.  

All are welcome to browse the interactive displays and meet with our students during the symposium.
