The new market opened in September 2006 and boasts 100% local produce as well as other products from the area, sourced mainly from the Elmira Produce Auction Cooperative.

In this Waterloo IEEE Alumni Talk, Ian Tien will discuss the founding of SpinPunch, a Y Combinator-backed video game company founded in the heart of Silicon Valley. SpinPunch now operates from Waterloo but leverages its roots in Silicon Valley. Ian will discuss how it is possible to successfully run a company from Waterloo with team members working in remote locations.
Representatives from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) as well as from Opportunities Ontario: Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) will be presenting on the requirements to apply for Permanent Residence (PR) in Canada. CIC will be presenting on the new Express Entry pathway and Opportunities Ontario will be presenting on the PNP process for Ontario.
The presentation will be most beneficial for graduating students and students at the graduate level.
