Since 2009, the SMF Department at St. Jerome’s University in Waterloo, Ontario has hosted a one-day research conference that highlights student and faculty research dealing generally with issues of social justice, personal/professional ethics, and responsible citizenship.

Join us for the FIRST Robotics Competition, Waterloo Regional, hosted at the University of Waterloo in the Physical Activities Complex. Thirty-two high-school teams from across Ontario and the US will converge on the University of Waterloo for the three-day competition, where they will demonstrate their robot in this year's challenge, FIRST Stronghold.

The event is open to the public and admittance is free. Final rounds will occur on Saturday afternoon.

Conchies Speak: Ontario Mennonites in Alternatives Service 1941-1946

During the Second World War, 2,600 Ontario Mennonite men served in conscientious objector work camps. Through archival records, this exhibit recovers their voices and stories. Free. Guided tours and additional programming available for groups if arranged in advance.
