  • All students are welcome to drop-in at any session to speak in a friendly, informal and confidential space
  • The group will be facilitated by a student volunteer and a Campus Wellness clinician

QPR is an education and awareness program that provides direction as to how to Question a person with thoughts of suicide, how to Persuade them to get help, and how to Refer the person to appropriate professional resources.

Waterloo faculty members (both emerging and established scholars) are invited to learn about tools and strategies to help improve the success of a SSHRC grant application by attending some or all of these workshops. Hosted by the Office of Research, these SSHRC Tools and Resources Training (START) workshops will cover the most challenging sections of a typical SSHRC grant application.

78% of 2018 START attendees who applied for the SSHRC Insight Grant were successful.  This is 34% higher than the national success rate.

The part-time Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) program is a 3-year graduate business degree designed for individuals who want to develop the skills to lead change and launch new ideas while balancing full-time work.

Course material will be delivered in weekend sessions over three years, with the next cohort starting classes in September 2019. In MBET, students learn inside and outside the classroom. Core business courses are integrated with practical experience, networking, and hands-on learning in the most entrepreneurial community in Canada.

This program uses those online materials, as well as vignettes to teach students, staff, and faculty how to Recognize, Respond, and Refer individuals experiencing mental health concerns on campus.
