The Wednesday Night Discussion Group and the Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council invite you to join us for an evening of discussion focused on how to make Waterloo Region a safe and healthy space for members of the Rainbow Community.
The Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council (WRCPC) is a community collaborative that works for social justice and positive change by addressing the root causes of crime. It is an advisory committee to the Region of Waterloo and consists of 28 members representing the community, social services, education, health, planning, justice, police and community partners. Given recent research on hate crimes indicate that 2/3 of hate crimes based on sexual orientation are violent, the WRCPC is very much interested in engaging in conversation with the Rainbow Community as it pulls together its plans for the upcoming year.
We hope you can join us for this very important discussion. Please spread the word.
