Digital media is changing the world around us. The Global Business and Digital Arts program will teach you to maximize the power of digital media to help companies succeed in today's competitive global economy.
Open to high school students and their families, the Waterloo Stratford Campus Open House will feature an academic information session, tours of our state-of-the-art digital media campus and the chance to chat with staff, professors and students. Live streaming will also be available.
Geoff Tansey will discuss the differing narratives - notably the 'productivity' vs.' 'sufficiency' narratives - which underlie differing approaches to creating a well-fed world. Solutions must look far beyond a focus in technology and production to achieve that goal. Key questions revolve around which of the various actors in the current dysfunctional food system is hungry for what - and how systemic change is needed to create just food systems that enable everyone to be well-fed.
