Come join for a special community screening of Status Quo?, a new documentary by Karen Cho, offered to chapters of the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW).
The film addresses the issue of feminism in modern Canadian society by taking a hard look at three key concerns – violence against women, access to abortion and universal childcare. By opening the film with a look back at our history, Cho begins with the assumption that feminism has shaped the society we live in, but then questions just how far we’ve come.
