The theme of "Change"
May 12th - 16th, 2013
5 day program (Sunday through Thursday)
We live in the midst of change: technological change, social change, political change, environmental change. In modern times humankind has experienced an unprecedented rapidity of change. How do we adapt, or not adapt... and what are the consequences? Students will consider the perspectives of scientists, engineers, writers, and philosophers, as they examine the dynamics of “Change”.
This is a time to drop by EV1 242 to ask questions about the use of LEARN (version 10. 1). Two CTE Faculty liaisons will be available to answer your questions and help you determine the best way to organize your course content and set up learning activities. If you are new to LEARN, consider taking a “Getting Started in LEARN” session before attending a drop-in. Please bring your own laptop to work on. There is no need to register for this session – first come, first served.
During this session, we will discuss the LITE Seed and Full Grants and go over the application and review processes. We welcome hearing your questions and ideas during the session.
These sessions are like ‘office hours’ and are held in EV1-242. No need to register; just show up to ask questions you may have about LEARN’s ePortfolio. Please note these are not intended to be Introductory Workshop sessions. If you have not used LEARN’s ePortfolio, please consider attending the Hands-on Introduction:Using LEARN’s ePortfolio session.
Begin to develop your teaching philosophy statement and tie it to
forms of evidence. No prior experience with this form of writing is
necessary. Led by Kyle Scholz, Graduate Instructional Developer (CTE).
