Attention lake association members, researchers, interested citizens and those who care about the health of our lakes and watersheds, this workshop is for you.

The Lessons Learned workshop provides an educational and sharing opportunity for those interested in learning about, protecting and caring for our Central Ontario lakes and watersheds. The theme for this workshop is Working Towards Effective Lake Stewardship.

While this workshop will be geared towards lake associations in Central Ontario, those with interests in other Ontario watersheds are encouraged to attend.

The Faculty of Engineering’s Student Design Centre, in cooperation with Engineering Outreach (WE Connect), the Waterloo Centre for Automotive Research (WatCAR) and Toyota will be hosting the second annual Electric Vehicle Challenge on Saturday May 25, 2013.

The challenge will feature 2 races in the 12 and 24 volt classes and an Engineering Design Award competition.

Celebrating the Music and Legacy of Iannis Xenakis.

The Institute for Quantum Computing, together with the Perimeter Institute and the Fields Institute present a two-day festival of contemporary string quartet, percussion, and electroacoustic music, together with lectures and discussion on the impact of Xenakis's work.

IQC will be hosting Grains of Sound: A Concert of Electroacoustics, Video and Robotics Performers.

Bangladesh Cultural Society (BCS)@KW, together with Bangladeshi Students’ Association (BSA)@UW, is organizing a fund-raising cultural event 'Chetonay Bangladesh' (Bangladesh in conscience) on the 25th May, Saturday at 5 PM Support building collapse victims and their families in Bangladesh.   Donations will be collected through Friends of CRP-Canada Society, the public foundation of a Canadian Registered Charity (Business Number 83494 1809 Rr0001). A receipt  will be mailed as soon as possible (usually 7 to 10 days)
