The Confucius Institute offers an art exhibition featuring Artist Zhang Wang who combines traditional Chinese visual elements with modern artistic design to create his own unique style.

The WIN Nano Graduate Student Seminar Series provides an opportunity for nanotechnology graduate students of WIN members to present and discuss their research, to help foster knowledge exchange and dialogue between researchers and across disciplines.
Every Tuesday, starting Sept 9th through until Nov 25th, from 12:30-1:30pm, in the QNC 1501 seminar room, two students will each give a 20 minute talk, followed by a 10 minute discussion on each presentation.
This workshop focuses on preparing an online application for a Post-Graduation Work Permit. This application must be submitted to Citizenship & Immigration Canada (CIC) within 90 days of completion of degree requirements. This workshop is best suited for students who will be completing their program as of December 2014 or have recently convocated in October 2014 and intend to work in Canada.
Attend this session to ﬁnd out how your interests relate to speciﬁc career opportunities. NOTE: There is a materials charge of $10.00 payable at the Centre for Career Action prior to the session. Once you have registered and paid, you will be given information on how to complete the Strong Interest Inventory online. The online assessment must be completed at least 2 business days prior to the workshop.

Then learn how to manage your references, create bibliographies, and format your papers in a variety of citation styles from a liaison librarian using RefWorks, a web-based citation software freely available to all UWaterloo students, faculty, and staff.
