History and Fiction: Two Ways of Getting at the Past
Author of several history books and the Tony Hillerman Prize-winning mystery novel City of Saints and its sequel, Destroying Angels, Professor Hunt will speak about the ways in which writers and filmmakers have used and misused history over the years in trying to recreate the past. His talk will draw on his own love of literature and cinema, as well as his experiences as a writer of both fiction and nonfiction books.
Free snacks will be provided.
