Abstract: Automated microscopy combined with high-throughput genetics are yielding image datasets of unprecedented size and richness.  To address the data-analysis challenge, we are developing computational and statistical approaches to allow exploratory data analysis and quantitative comparison of biologically interpretable measurements from these images.

CODE is the first national Open Data hackathon in Canada – a 48 hour competition where participants compete to build the best app utilizing federal government data from the Canadian Open Data Portal (http://www.data.gc.ca).
