Please join us for the opening of our winter exhibitions featuring new installations by Michelle Bellemare and Dave Dyment.
UWaterloo CanBuild is more than just a typical food drive — it strives to raise awareness about hunger on campus and in the community.
CanBuild engages the campus community to develop teams, collaborate with colleagues and put their creativity skills to work by building structures from the food donations they collect.
We want to raise awareness about eating disorders and other body image issues and to help students think about their own bodies and their relationship with food in a positive and/or healing way. We will also provide resources that will inform students of symptoms, signs and where to find help.
This workshop provides an important opportunity to examine the unspoken rules of the workplace, from appropriate emails to appropriate dress. The seemingly little things we do or say that can ultimately lead to our success or hold us back. It’s a chance to examine how others perceive us, and it’s critically important in the workplace.
How can you be sure that the resources you’re using are appropriate for university-level assignments? This 50 minute workshop combines activities and discussions to guide you through the process of critically evaluating resources and authors to determine their credibility.
