UWaterloo CanBuild is more than just a typical food drive — it strives to raise awareness about hunger on campus and in the community.  

CanBuild engages the campus community to develop teams, collaborate with colleagues and put their creativity skills to work by building structures from the food donations they collect.

Two-session workshop: attend the first session to learn about your personality type and preferences for learning and decision making. In the second session, discover how to apply your Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to explore potential careers. NOTE: There is a materials charge to students of $10 payable at the Centre for Career Action prior to the session. Once you have registered and paid, you will be given information on how to complete the assessment online. The assessment must be completed at least 2 business days prior to the workshop.

In this panel, major Canadian financial institutions will speak to different methods in managing market risk, credit risk, asset liability management, operational risk; explain the career outlook in the Risk Management industry; and advise students in how to prepare themselves to meet the challenges head-on.
