Conchies Speak: Ontario Mennonites in Alternatives Service 1941-1946

During the Second World War, 2,600 Ontario Mennonite men served in conscientious objector work camps. Through archival records, this exhibit recovers their voices and stories. Free. Guided tours and additional programming available for groups if arranged in advance.

Echo of the Unknown stems from the artist’s memories of her grandfather's struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Centering on the four-channel video installation Can't Find My Way Home, the exhibition addresses the challenges of maintaining a sense of self in the face of physical and psychological extremes. This exhibition has been organized by Blaffer Art Museum at the University of Houston.

Have you ever written a test or exam and then are surprised at the mark you received? Do you try and memorize the material for your courses and not actually learn it? This workshop is for you! You will learn how to approach reviewing and test taking more effectively and we will discuss blooms taxonomy of learning, a variety of test formats as well as different strategies for learning and reviewing.
