Conchies Speak: Ontario Mennonites in Alternatives Service 1941-1946

During the Second World War, 2,600 Ontario Mennonite men served in conscientious objector work camps. Through archival records, this exhibit recovers their voices and stories. Free. Guided tours and additional programming available for groups if arranged in advance.

This workshop builds on “Getting Started with ArcGIS” (a recommended prerequisite for those with no previous GIS experience) but isn’t absolutely necessary. That is why my current consultancy is called “justenvironment,” so named because I know what I know and what I don’t. I received a Master’s of Environmental Studies (from U of T), long before most universities ever had them.
