The World’s Challenge Challenge at the University of Waterloo is a competition where teams of three diverse students pick one of the United Nations’ Sustainability Development Goals, and propose a solution. Teams will be selected for interviews on February 14, based on a written application, and six teams will be selected to make a 5-7 minute presentation on March 2, proposing a solution to a panel of judges, with Q&A.

Waterloo Game Jam is a thrice-annual, multi-day event hosted by The Games Institute (GI). Each of these events are open to the public and are designed to appeal to a wide variety of playful people.
Whether you have an idea for a game design in the works, or if game design has never crossed your mind, there is room for everyone! All levels of expertise and preparation are welcome.
