The World’s Challenge Challenge at the University of Waterloo is a competition where teams of three diverse students pick one of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (also known as Global Goals), and propose a solution. Teams will be selected for interviews occurring on February 14, and six teams will be selected to make a 5-7 minute presentation on March 1, proposing a solution to a panel of judges, with Q&A.
Conrad Grebel University College’s Peace and Conflict Studies program (PACS) at the University of Waterloo was the first peace studies program in Canada, and has remained a leader in peace education for 40 years. With PACS’ innovative approach to learning, students can choose arts-based assignment options in many courses.

In the 2017/2018 FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge, students age 9 to 14 from 80 countries made a splash with HYDRO DYNAMICS. MORE THAN 40 elementary school teams from across Ontario will compete in the FIRST LEGO League West Ontario Championships on January 28, 2018.
