Is your child in grade 9 for the 2018-2019 school year? If so, Nov 14th is Take Your Kid to Work Day. Here at the University of Waterloo we want to help plan a career guided day with a variety of workshops and hands on opportunities. Depending on their interests, there will be a variety of workshops for the students to engage in! All sessions will start and end at the Visitors Centre and will be 1 hour in length! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any direct questions.
The KW Woodwind Quintet has chosen a program of delightful music by French composers to showcase the "jolie vent" that wind instruments create. The concert will include Ravel's Tombeau de Couperin, Debussy's Children's Corner, Bozza's Scherzo, and Bizet's Carmen Fantasie. Bienvenue à notre concert!
Every Wednesday afternoon, we offer a dedicated writing space (with coffee, tea, and treats!) for faculty to write together. After the writing session you are welcome to stay to discuss writing goals, challenges and strategies with your colleagues.
In celebration of International Education Week, Dr. Marianne Larsen will be joining the campus community to discuss the opportunities, challenges and barriers of internationalization and academic mobility.
