Conrad Grebel University College’s Peace and Conflict Studies program (PACS) at the University of Waterloo was the first peace studies program in Canada, and has remained a leader in peace education for 40 years. The University of Waterloo’s Accounting and Finance Student Association (AFSA) is running its annual Tax Clinic for 2018!
The Tax Clinic is an opportunity for the UW student volunteers to help and file the community’s income tax returns for absolutely free. This project is aimed towards students and low-middle income families who require any assistance in the tax-filing process.
EVA is a trio featuring cellist Vesa Norilo, kantele player, Anna-Karin Korhonen and soprano Essi Wuorela (Rajaton), all hailing from Helsinki, Finland. Their repertoire consists of traditional Finnish folk music as well as original music composed by members of EVA. Each member of the group brings a wealth of musical experience, having studied a wide range of styles from classical to jazz and folk.
