Thrive is a series of events focused on building positive mental health for University of Waterloo students, faculty, and staff. Thrive is also a mindset that encourages you to flourish. We all have mental health, and we can each strengthen our mental health by learning about it, thinking about it, talking about it, and discovering new skills and resources to help us Thrive all year long.
Each year, we invite leading academics from across the world to hold the prestigious TD Walter Bean Visiting Professorship in Environment.
This year, Dr. Jacqueline McGlade will be joining us the week of November 4th as the 2019 TD Walter Bean Visiting Professor in Environment.
In addition to the Public Lecture on November 6th, we are holding meeting time slots for Grad students and faculty to meet with Dr. McGlade. We have limited the Grad sessions to max 25 spots to make it more manageable for conversation.
