
The Tsinghua-Waterloo Joint Forum on Advances in Energy and Environmental Technologies will bring together leading experts in the fields of sustainable energy management, novel energy production, biofuels, pollution mitigation, fuel cells, and next-generation rechargeable energy systems. The four-day Forum will include internationally renowned plenary speakers, scientific presentations on technological advances in energy, round-table discussions on research and entrepreneurship, and networking events.
If you haven’t explored the green spaces between the residences, Westmount Avenue, and Health Services in the Northwest corner of campus, you’re missing out. Women & non-binary faculty, post-docs, staff, and grad students are invited to a picnic (bring your own lunch) and a tour of a great lunchtime walking (or rolling or running) route.

Noon - Meet on Ring Road at the path to residences (across from PAC)
12:05 pm - Walk to picnic table and eat lunch
12:45 pm - Walk along path
1:00pm - End walk at the bridge to Health Services (HS)

We invite you to participate in Kids Ability Discovery Lab hosted by GreenHouse and St Paul's University College.
As a participant, you will discover how you can improve quality of life for children with accessibility challenges and their caregivers.
During the lab, you'll learn about the child treatment system from a variety of stakeholders. Then learn skills in problem definition and ethical design to identify opportunities for innovation.
