The competition invites teams of up to 4 students to choose an important industry problem, and thoroughly research its history, scope, and impact, before pitching the findings to a panel of judges on November 14th to compete for a share of up to $30,000 in funding. The Co-op Problem Lab Award is earned by providing the best analysis of an important problem relevant to a co-op employer or the employer’s industry.
Through discussion and hands-on activities in this half-day workshop, you will learn how to prepare an effective résumé and cover letter by analyzing job descriptions, assessing the relevance of your transferable skills and articulating these transferable skills in an action-oriented way.
