On Wednesday, March 20th, students from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Waterloo will present their design projects at the 13th Annual Design Project Symposium.
More than 310 students will present 71 design project prototypes that solve problems in the general areas of entertainment, music, power, robotics, security, sensors and devices, software, tracking, transportation, and user input.
Students will exhibit innovative projects, such as a system to alert lifeguards to swimmers in distress, a device for precisely measuring voltages of electronic systems without the need for contact, and a system to navigate boats and avoid collisions.
The event will be held in the William G. Davis Computer Research Centre on the University of Waterloo campus, from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm.
Visitors are encouraged to browse the interactive displays and meet with students anytime during the symposium.
Attendance is free.
